The Music That Changed My Life
Mood:  energetic
I can say that in my life there have been three albums that have changed my life to the point that without these three I wouldn't be the person I am today. 1.Public Enemy - It Takes A Nation of Millions to Hold Us Back. I remember being a depressed mournful teen (ahh...umm...long story) and finding this album change me from being a pop top 40 listener to hip-hop junkie. 2.Roni Size - New Forms. I was finishing my undergrad studies when I heard this album. I had lost my taste in hip-hop and the babble of we miss tupac/biggie songs that seem to hit the market. I just stood back and wanted to study the beats and home grown samples that roni used. 3.Luke Vibert - Drum N' Bass for Papa. I got this one for my birthday. It wasn't homegrown like Roni Size's. It was pure samples! Samples that I didn't need to make but take from records that I already had. I was hooked.
